Ingredients: 1 liter milk, 6 tablespoons flour, 1 lemon peel, 200 g sugar, 4 eggs, toasted almonds

Preparation: This is a delicious sweet, originating in the village of Odeleite and which has been "owned" by a family for about 200 years. He was considered a rich sweet, practically only made for special occasions, especially for weddings.

To prepare the recipe, put in a pot the milk, the egg yolks, the flour and the lemon. Stir everything very well until the egg yolks are undone and the cream thickened. To the part the whites are beaten in castle. In another pan the sugar is placed with three drops of water to make caramel and then it is added to the cream stirring always to undo and not to be hard. Remove from the heat and add the egg whites, wrapping them with a wooden spoon, from the bottom up. Pour the cream on a platter and garnish with toasted and chipped almonds on top. Serve cold.
